  As always great food, friendly service and a buzzing ambience. Today pork belly with sesame seed mayo pickled vegetables and side salad with a nice beer called la virgen Jamonera. Love coming back every time we visit York !

  Excellent in every aspect - service was quick and friendly, that is to say, served almost immediately and no waiting around after placing our order. I chose the "Bits and Bobs" platter, which was a selection of dried meats and cheeses, olives, pickles etc and a generous serving of good bread. Servings are generous and well worth the price. Check out the king sized meringues too. Coffee was great too.
  Full marks, highly recommended.
